We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) offering an array of services to meet the needs of the communities we serve. We operate nine sites offering Primary Medical Care, Dental Care, Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, Patient Transportation, Mobile Medical, and Outreach Services.

Excellent salary up to $225,000 based on experience with excellent full-time benefits.

• You will diagnose and treat mental health conditions.
• You will assess patients and determine suitable psychiatric treatment plans, combining medical, psychological, and social interventions, in accordance with established standards of practice.
• You will complete timely documentation in the EMR for each patient encounter and review patient medical records for accuracy, and completeness as outlined in policy.
• You will work closely within a multidisciplinary team consulting and collaborating with primary care physicians, mental health therapists, nurses, and other health care providers.
• You will refer patients to primary care and specialists as needed while maintaining responsibility and assuring continuity of care.
• You will supervise and collaborate with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in accordance with state and ReGenesis Health Care collaborative agreements.
• You will participate in the ongoing development of ReGenesis Health Care’s psychiatry department.

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy.
• Completion of an approved residency program in Psychiatry.

• South Carolina license to practice medicine.
• Current certification by an appropriate American Specialty Board or board eligible and in the process of becoming board certified within 12 months of hire.

• Completion of an approved residency program in Psychiatry.
• Experience with Patient-Centered Medical Home model preferred.
• Completion of a qualified residency program or demonstration of a reasonable volume of patient care within the past 12 months.
