Health Insurance Enrollment Assistance

No one plans to get sick or hurt, but most people need medical care at some point. Health insurance covers these costs and protects you from very high expenses. ReGenesis Health Care offers help with navigating the new health care “marketplace.” The Marketplace is a new way to find health coverage that fits your budget and meets your needs. With one application, you can see all your options and enroll in the one that suits you best. Insurance plans in the Marketplace are offered by private companies, and they cover the same core set of benefits called essential health benefits. The Marketplace is the only place to see if you are eligible for tax credits or cost-sharing reductions to help with insurance costs. You can enroll online, by mail, or in person. We are here to help you look at all of your options, comparing service and cost, and we can assist you in enrolling for a new plan. If you or someone you know would like to meet with our Certified Application Counselors, or would like more information, just call 864-978-2201.

Cancer Prevention and Early Detection

ReGenesis Health Care works to improve access to screening and early detection and treatment of cancer, particularly among populations that experience disparities in health care and treatment success. While the focus of educational activities varies throughout the year, there are programs on breast cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, and cervical cancer, among others. Check our Calendar of Events to see what’s coming up soon!

Chronic Disease Management

Diabetes Self-Management Training is an accredited program for adults with diabetes. The goal is to empower people to take charge of their lives by better managing chronic health issues. The target audience for this course includes patients with uncontrolled diabetes, newly diagnosed diabetics, diabetics with complications and persons transitioning care (ex: from pediatrics to adult care). Participants also benefit by meeting other people with similar challenges, gaining support from each other, enhanced problem solving and adapting new ideas for making informed decisions. Research has shown that those who complete a 10-hour workshop series, report increased energy, reduced stress, more self-confidence, and healthier outcomes.

At ReGenesis Health Care, we care.
