Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic is a separate and distinct profession that focuses on the alignment of the spine in relation to the interference on the central nervous system.
Chiropractic is not part of the medical profession, it never was. It’s roots come from a different philosophy, and we tend to think about things differently than medical providers. An organization (like ReGenesis) that honors and celebrates that distinction benefits from having a larger perspective on health, life expression, and life experience than other organizations that are not as inclusive.
The spine is actually part of the central nervous system, the alignment of the spine directly affects how well the brain, brain stem, and spinal cord do their job. Not only the alignment, but the movement of the spine plays a very important part in how well the brain functions.
The central nervous system controls and coordinates the entire body into a machine that does amazing things. Most importantly, it manages adaptation to the environment, and the balance along the way.
As a side-effect, when the spine is balanced and in proper function, all the parts that ‘hang’ off it (muscles, ligaments, tendons, spinal nerves, blood vessels, etc) function better as well.
What Chiropractic does, simply put, is allows for the best possible expression and experience of life itself.
