Patient Centered Medical Home
We are NOT your average healthcare facility. We are a step above the rest. We’re a facility that puts patients’ needs above our profit margin. In other words, we provide medical care that is tailored to our patients, their needs, and their lifestyles. When diagnosing and treating, we take into consideration their feelings and what is best for their overall health, not just what’s best for our practice. ReGenesis Health Care is certified as complying with the standards set forth by the federal government with respect to health or health-related claims. We are deemed as a federal public health service (PHS) affiliate.
This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal PHS deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
We are a patient-centered medical home. This means we value our clients’ values. If they’re against a procedure or test due to religious views or other reasons, we listen with understanding and open minds. We give our personal recommendations, but the bottom line is that a patient should be in charge of his or her own healthcare. If you can’t control your own health and body, what is there left in life for you to feel like you’re in control of? Not only do we take into consideration your values versus the care you need when making any decisions about your health, we also try to find options that you might be more comfortable with. Your preferences and values shouldn’t hinder you getting the care you need if there are other options available that may be more suited to your individual need and desires.
One way we ensure your opinion is respected amongst our staff is that each one of us will approach your situation in a non-judgmental manner. We understand that there aren’t any two individuals out there that are exactly the same. Everybody has a unique personality and preferences and has been through a unique journey. Therefore, we can’t fully understand the logic as to why he or she feels strong about a healthcare decision, but we’re willing to listen and find alternative routes. We’re also willing to work with you if it’s a fear of a procedure. We’ll explain the safety of it as well as the risks and hold your hand figuratively or literally.
We will provide you with the necessary information you need in order to make educated decisions about your health. We’ll explain the pros and cons, so you can make an informed choice as to whether a diagnostic test or treatment will benefit you and if you can set aside any hesitations.
We want to make sure you know your health and opinion matters to us. We’ll involve you in all clinical decisions, so you feel comfortable and less like a dollar sign and more like someone we value as more than a patient.
Quality, Affordable Healthcare
We are available during and after office hours. We want you to see the same provider at every visit; however, your own provider may be fully booked, therefore, we will assist you in seeing one of our other providers to avoid delays, routinely offering evening hours at some of our locations. We also keep several appointments open for each provider for same day appointments.
In addition, we offer appropriate medical advice and information during office hours and have a Nurse on Call (864-582-2411) after-hours and on weekends when the office is closed. We also keep track of lab tests, imaging studies, and referrals ordered during your visit and will obtain records from ER visits and hospital stays so that your records remain updated. If you need to obtain your medical records, you may contact the Health Information Department directly at 864-504-3615 or via fax at 864-582-7178.
Furthermore, we are committed to providing quality, affordable care to everyone regardless of his or her ability to pay and no patient will be denied health services due to an individual’s inability to pay for such services. To ensure access to care, ReGenesis provides services at a discounted (sliding fee) rate to patients whose total household income falls within certain parameters of the Federal Poverty Guidelines as published by the US Department of Health and Human Services. Any patient desiring to apply for health insurance can visit www.healthcare.gov to review their options.
